"Torrette" CROTTA DI PRADO, Valle d'Aosta DOP 2018 IGT It certainly is one ofTorrette is the most common red wine from La Valle. Crotta del Prado produces around 15000 bottles per year. Torrette is a blend of local grapes Petit Rouge (80%), Premetta, Fumin and Cornalin (20%). A beautiful ruby red, often dark, it has scents of wild rose and mountain flowers, and with age develops scents and flavours that remind almonds. It has a good body, is velvety and well rounded and can be enjoyed with salami, sausages and hard cheeses, or
