The fissured surface resembles an elephant's foot, and that is where it gets it's nickname from! It is one known to go dormant in U. S. climates during the winter where it will lose all of it's leaves and regrow them in the spring! Care: These will do best in bright indirect light. They do not like too much share though! It is important to not overwater during the winter
