These wood prints are made by treating the cross cut section of a log by burning, sanding and burnishing the surface. Next the piece is prepped for ink by cleaning and sealing. Next I roll on the block printing and press the wood into the paper. This creates a relief print directly from the log. The result is a stunning work of art that shows the years, the time and the life of the tree from which the
