Hand Dyed Cheviot Wool Top for Spinning or Felting - 'Autumn Bouquet' Resin Support Spindle grey and purple shades100 grams (3. 5oz) hand dyed Cheviot wool top. Cheviot is a crimpy downland wool, easy to spin and pleasant to wear. Would also needle or wet felt, although it's not as fast to work into felt as a fine wool such as Merino. The fibre was dyed with random mixtures of colour, so the colourway is unrepeatable and unique. In some of our colourways the dye only partly penetrates the fibre in places, or splashes of colour are applied to give a 'patchwork'
