We preemptively filed a declaratory judgment suit in the Western District of North Carolina in response to Commscopes multiple threats to sue our client, secured FRCP 12(b)(6) dismissal of all Commscopes extra-contractual counterclaims, successfully moved to compel the company to fly one of its executives half-way around the world from Seoul, Korea to answer 20 deposition questions he had been instructed not to answer, and ultimately won summary judgment in its entirety for Winthrop, wiping out Commscopes multi-million dollar counterclaim, and winning an award of our attorneys fees and expenses
