I switched gears and looked across the area trying to find some wildflowers close to the path while the lighting was still good

which makes for some good photography

Wild turkeys have become numerous in recent years in Rocky Mountain National Park as these chicks stay close to their mother for her protection and guidance

As I was looking for something to catch my eye, I noticed these windswept patterns across the prairie landscape and thought that they were very interesting with their shapes and textures. (419 13)
