It was unceremoniously stamped FDR1A for Fine Dry Red and the bin code 1A. The small bottling became a legend in winemaking circles, accumulating a tree of three trophies and 21 gold medals at some of the most prominent and respected wine shows across Australia. In 2000, FDR1A was recreated and in 2004 it gained a distinctive point of difference with its 100% Eden Valley provenance.
