Wairau River Sauvignon Blanc region_cognac Having taken notes from AnchorEstablished in 1978, the Rose family estate vineyards are situated on the banks of the Wairau River (pronounced why row). Pioneers in the Marlborough region, the Rose family selected vineyard sites along the banks of the Wairau River to grow their grapes. This river provides the wines with a distinct sense of place and the rivers stratification is the inspiration for the label design across all the brands varietals.
