but these are enveloped in a luxurious texture and weight

with a lovely concentration on the nose

2022 Morgon, Grand Cras, Domaine de Vernus, Beaujolais Willamette Valley - Vinous 93-95/100This parcel is located at the foot of Cote de Py. Very floral on the nose alongside ripe black fruits retaining good freshness. We can also discern animal and leather notes compared to the straight Morgon adding a layer of complexity. Elegant on the palate with lovely bright blue fruit. Still, a more rustic Beaujolais compared to the rest of the range but will age very well. Give this one some time in a Carafe before drinking.
