Clear Creek Canyon at Night Size:11"x14" Prior to leaving the lake

Prior to leaving the lake I checked out some other areas and found some tall grasses backlit blowing in the wind

Using a shallower depth of field so the bear is slightly out of focus my thought was to peer through the foliage nearby to give another perspective of the bear

I walked around the neighborhood looking for changes in the season when I encountered a building with a blank palette

which allows the reminder of the Rocky Mountain News to show on the white building across the park

Clear Creek Canyon at Night Size:11"x14" Prior to leaving the lakeI headed up Clear Creek Canyon with a friend who is familiar with the area from his many trips here fishing. As we stopped at a parking area in the dark we climbed up higher to get a perspective over the road. Highway 6 can be busy with traffic heading to the casinos and other mountain locations west of Golden. However at times you can also find a lone car as in this image.
