carrying grain to Madeira and wine back to the West Indies until shipwrecked off Funchal in 1714

but it is starting to show the first signs of aromatic development

This shows lovely focus and energy, not to mention terrific overall balance. I would not be surprised to see this merit a higher score with further bottle age.
