As the night settled in I captured the quiet winter evening in the park which is quite different then being there in the summer

This was the first year holiday lights were placed on this large aircraft

The narrow street with a slight curve allowed me to get a great perspective of the lines on this building

Sunset through a Whale Tail Size:11"x14" As the night settled inAfter the City and Borough of Juneau completed the dock expansion project they added sculptures where the cruise ships use to tie up along the boardwalk. As I walked along these one evening the sun was starting to set allowing me to posting myself in a location where the sun would be behind the metal. I then used an aperture which would give me a star effect from the sun which also comes through the metal of the sculpture.
