I had use this structure as a foreground in the past

I started photographing the flowers as I headed further up the trail

With the wildfires in Colorado (most of which are either at or nearing 100% containment) there are just a fraction of the normal fireworks display around Denver for the 4th of July

As I headed up the hill to the capitol building at the base of the steps I noticed this view of the building which under the light was quite dramatic

Grant Park Modern View National Park I had use this structureGrowing up in the Chicago area it is always interesting to revisit the city to see how it has changed over the years. As I remember visiting Grant Park in my youth and also in my college years as my parents lived downtown, I can easily see the old blending in with the new around the city. This building is the Blue Cross Blue Shield Tower just north of the park. What is interesting for this building is that it was completed and then a few years later
