Inaugurated in 1926, the beautifully constructed two tiered concrete structure, characterised by its Art Deco entrance, was an immensely popular open air cafe and dancing venue with enjoyable live music played by top local bands. The picturesque site of the building lit up by colourful bulbs was a real delight to
