and the number of people you see being counted on two hands however it is quite magnificent

the flow of traffic slowing and the temperatures beginning to drop

but as I was walking back towards my car I spotted the strong sun on the above image

After a day of snowshoeing up the road I was heading back and stopped at the west end of Lake McDonald just after sunset

Bridge to Glacier National Park Size:16"x20" and the number of peopleSetting up at dusk one evening in September I waited for traffic to pass by my spot on the side of the bridge. The bridge is located at the west side of Glacier National Park as you cross the Middle Fork of the Flathead River. Being so late in the evening, there were few cars and those were leaving the National Park after spending the day enjoying the many offerings you can find at Glacier.
