Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch 4 58.6% 70cl Isle of Wight Distillery whose aristocratic Portuguese lineage andThe 4th release of Heavily Peated from Kilkerran and bottled at Cask Strength. This is upfront smoky but it's laced with a wonderful sea salt and black pepper element. It's a combination of 80% ex Bourbon casks and 20% ex Sherry casks, giving a lovely vanilla honey note underlying, adding a touch of sweetness in the background.
