The brooch bears the makers mark for the renowned Riker Brothers Co. of Newark, NJ on the reverse of one of the legs. The piece measures 1. 1 inches by 1. 2 inches wide, and it weighs 5. 83 grams. It is in great condition; however, the c catch is likely a later replacement. Materials: 14k gold, Ruby, diamond, demantoid garnet.
