The name “Gladius” is special to me because it was chosen by the community by way of a mini-contest on the Canadian Wet Shavers Facebook page (I actually shipped the first batch before Gladius even had its name)

The metal is then passivated to ensure that every surface of the component is free of impurities and that the corrosion resistance is as high as possible
